Team Outing

Bangalore: At last that wonderful day came true! 11th Saturday Aug 2007, on which the IBM team have selected for the team outing. Vinod, the CEO (Chief entertaining Officer) of the one day tour, never ever thought in his wield dream that the resort would be too near as it was! He found out very easily this resort on Google and the same way it was too near to the last pickup point. The people were very excited, punctual and orthodox to stick on to the strict instructions (agreement on email) from the CEO regarding the timing and about the pickups. It made thinks very easy to manage for him. So the team was too early for that trip regardless of the pervious plan! Team reached the resort 2 hours early than they expected. The main attraction of the trip was Mr.Shanavaz came with his 'Mersides padmini'. Lot of people was interested to get in to his car but he didn't allow because since it was very new model just launched in Europe. Only Mr. Krishna got a chance to drive and park it, after that amazing experience he told to TOI that he will never drive a vehicle in near future.

The day light was very low when the team reached there(Sun was not yet rised there as the time zone was 3 hours back!). There after everybody was taken rest on huts and Villas allowed to each individually. Sudheer didn't get sleep because he was afraid of staying alone in a lonely hut. After taking rest for few seconds, the team was ready and started the second part of the welcome drink offered by the resort people! The first part was finished at the bus itself!. It was quiet amazing to have such kind of a great drink after the short journey and immediately after the part-1.The welcome drink consumed little time and then we have started 'trucking' with cricket bat and tennis ball!

The cricket match was amazing, the team selection was wonderful. There was an objective type online examination for the team selection and based on the score selected either Madhu's or Kiran's team. Both team were blessed with talented professionals who need not worry about their future, even though the IT outsourcing era ends unexpectedly! The attraction of the match is Mr. Sudheer, who was one celebrity who entertained the people from the gallery with his amazing all-round performance on the 'field'. He has nominated for the man of the 'serious' after the match. He made the match very interesting and pulled back when it seems like one-sided.
